Regency on the Beach and the Gold Coast join Aussies from all over the country this April in celebrating National Youth Week. The events to be held near our Palm Beach family accommodation are chock full of energy, creativity, and self-expression. Guests young and youthful in our beachfront apartments in Palm Beach can enjoy a hodgepodge of sports activities like paddle boarding and rock climbing, music merriment like concerts and workshops, and culinary adventures like beachside barbecues.
To help you plan your Gold Coast holiday, here's a list of things to do during National Youth Week while staying at Regency on the Beach:
Horror make up
For those looking for refreshing amusement, a drop by the Waters Branch Library on April 5, 4 pm would do just the trick. Learn how to make fun and spooky disguises with artist Amy Booth. Apply make up, wax, or face paint that looks like wounds, bullet holes, and amputation
Meet the Gold Coast United
High five Glenn Moss. Have you met Zac Anderson? One of Australia's most competitive soccer teams, the Gold Coast United, will tarry by the Robina Branch Library at the Robina Town Centre on April 8, 4-4 pm. So don't miss this opportunity to meet and play with the Gold Coast's favorite soccer heroes.
Work out on the Water
Learn how to take full advantage of golden sands near our Palm Beach Apartments, and stay sexy and fit for the beach. A dynamic water-to-land workourt that incorporates elements of swimming and paddling with general exercises will be taught at the Palm Beach Park Highlands on March 9, 7 am.
Youth on the Dunes
Everyone is invited to participate in activities to care for the beach that every Queenslander takes pride in. On April 9, 9-11 am, holiday makers can join the locals at the beach end of 27th Avenue, and plant native species, remove weeds, and pick up beach litter. This is also a fun and productive way to enjoy a Gold Coast morning.
Throw-a-Youth Week Festival
Take a ride to Thrower House-Salk Oval at Thrower Drive, and experience the vibrance and merriment of National Youth Week. You are invited to take part on April 9, 1-5 pm in a festival of live music, rock climbing, stand up paddle boarding, arts and crafts workshops, and a beachside barbecue.
