The Queensland Police Pipes and Drums will be performing once again at the Robina Community Centre for free. Two times each year, Australia’s finest pipe band comes to the Centre to put on a concert at no cost.
The band has won a slew of state championships as well as international and national awards. They have performed at numerous functions including the popular Edinburgh Military Tattoo, community group receptions and rock concerts. The band has also played a critical role in official ceremonies all through the year, from Government House open days, police inductions, Police Remembrance Day and the ANZAC Day Parade.
The sight and sound of the Police Pipes and Drums gives any event an air of distinction. The band has also added modern rock instruments as well as contemporary music in their repertoire. The Queensland Police Pipes & Drums continually serves the community by performing regularly at charity events, festivals, community fetes and shows all over the State.
The Queensland Police Pipes and Drums will be at the Robina Community Centre, Robina Town Centre Drive, Robina on September 25, 2013 from 11:30am to 12:30pm. It is a short drive from our Palm Beach Holiday Accommodation.
