A huge celebration of art and culture will take place this April on the Gold Coast with Festival 2018 and Bleach* Festival! Ready to take place alongside the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, Festival 2018 Gold Coast will accompany all the exciting competitive sports with FREE entertainment across Queensland’s favourite beach destination.
The schedule for Festival 2018 Gold Coast is simply unmissable, with incredible live music performances taking place in Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, and NightQuarter. Broadbeach will host the Queensland Music Stage in Surf Parade, which will offer performances from some of the biggest names in Aussie music such as Kate Miller-Heidke and Amy Shark. In Surfers Paradise don’t miss Susheela Raman, M.anifest, Yothu Yindi and the Treaty Project, The Cat Empire, and more. At NightQuarter, enjoy live performances from Zoe L’Amore, Ablazing Grace, 42 Band, Force Majeure, The Farm, Punchdrunk, Dancenorth, and Jeremy Goldstein; alongside several tempting food festivals taking place throughout Festival 2018 Gold Coast!
As well as live music, Festival 2018 Gold Coast will bring a number of circus, theatre, comedy, dance performances, and visual art exhibits. Surfers Paradise will host this year’s ‘Giant Sing Along’, which will a feature a large lyrics screen and dozens of microphones to get the whole community singing along together! In Currumbin don’t miss a stunning moonlit kayak tour of the Currumbin Estuary with “Quiet by Nature”, as well as a high-energy dance performance from “VOU”.
