The Gold Coast Recreation Centre is nestled between the pristine Tallebudgera Creek and Burleigh Head National Park, right on the doorstep of magnificent Tallebudgera Beach. Quality facilities, meeting spaces, and instructor-led activities are available.
There is a 10-meter high artificial rock climbing wall for children five and up with ten different climbs of varying degrees of difficulty. You can also test yourself solo using the automatic belay system. For only $12.55, you can do unlimited climbing. There’s also a pool where you may take a dip, shoot some hoops alone, or play sprung wood indoor basketball, netball, volleyball, or badminton. The Gold Coast Recreation Centre is open every Saturday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. During Queensland school holidays, it’s open seven days a week.
