Tallebudgera Creek
The best family location on the Gold Coast is Tallebudgera Creek. Perhaps a little hidden gem that the tourist don’t always find. Your little ones can safely dig and build sandcastles at the water’s edge without being concerned about getting rolled from the constant waves.
The white sand and pristine water is an Instagram-worthy opportunity for the entire family! You can unwind there for the entire day as the kids play and swim. Treat yourself to a coffee or light meal at the local Custard Canteen, located just a few sandy steps from the water. Operating 6:00am – 2:30pm for your convenience. There is also a play park for the kids, beach showers and bathrooms.
Tallebudgera Creek, named Australia’s Best Swimming Spot in Wotif’s 2019 Uniquely Aussie Awards, is also perfect for any water-related activity, including boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, and paddle boarding. So why not pack the SUP’s for some adult fun!
Water enthusiasts of all ages will fall in love with this particular place.
Tallebudgera Creek Conservation Park

The walk is suitable for people of average fitness levels. It includes bitumen, a 250-meter boardwalk across the river, a mixture of flat and irregular level paths, and some steps. Access this stroll via Ocean Parade or the David Fleay Wildlife Park parking lot.
You can return to Regency on the Beach to recover after your beautiful stroll. A quick shower, and a chance to freshen yourself before an early dinner at Tallebudgera Surf Club – again just steps from the hotel.
Tallebudgera Surf Club
