The area around our Palm Beach apartments has many fascinating things to do and places to visit. Regency on the Beach is in a perfect location close to Tallebudgera Creek, Burleigh Heads, and Currumbin attractions, including Cooly Rocks On Festival and the Creekfest – On Currumbin Creek.
Cooly Rocks On
From June 7 to 11, you may participate in a celebration of the vehicles, music, and way of life from the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. Cooly Rocks On most recently took up GOLD in the Major Festivals & Events category of the Queensland Tourism Awards 2022. If you’ve been curious about but have yet to experience Australia’s favourite nostalgia event, now is the time to do so.
As previously mentioned, the festival honours the fashion, music, and automobiles of those eras, and there are various events you may take part in that fall under those categories.
Motors: Australia’s best Show ‘N’ Shine exhibition will take place in Coolangatta, with more than 900 spectacular vehicles lining the streets. For the best hot rods, Kustom cars, and lowbrow art, head to Kustomville. Then, stroll through Goodwin Park to get close to a massive collection of automobiles, scooters, bikes, and other vehicles.
Music: Music lovers, put on your best dance shoes as rock ‘n’ roll, swing, rockabilly, and tribute performers from around the globe are on the lineup for Cooly Rocks On. You may also view the official preliminary round of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest.
Lifestyle: Finally, Cooly Rocks On celebrates lifestyle and fashion through two exciting events. The Cooly Rocks On Pin-up Pageant and the Cooly Rocks On Moonlight Swing Dance honour vintage and rockabilly clothing and give attendees plenty of opportunity to dance the night away.
Creekfest – On Currumbin Creek
For the third consecutive year, Creekfest will take place; this time, it promises to be even bigger and better than before. The family-friendly, free live music event is on June 23 to 25.
Enjoy a weekend filled with good vibes, fantastic weather, and excellent live performances by some of the best musicians from Australia and the Gold Coast! Over 18 live performers will be performing at Creekfest on two outdoor stages. Be ready for long performances, incredible musicians, bands, and vocalists, as well as top-notch food and drink the entire weekend.
